Assessment Criteria 103


CONCEPTUAL ENGAGEMENT
Demonstrate the ability develop and respond to ideas in an inventive, generative, and where appropriate, resolved manner in relation to the practice and discourse of drawing

RESEARCH
Show an understanding of some of the formal, theoretical, cultural, political and historical contexts relevant to the practice of drawing. Demonstrate processing skills; understanding, analysis and questioning with regard to research material and its impact on the work in progress. This can be evidenced in preparatory work, drawings, notes and workbooks as well as in resolved work.

RESOLUTION OF WORK
The work selected for assessment will demonstrate an ability to isolate successful ideas, methods and material processes, and, to also develop these instances through to completion.

PRESENTATION OF WORK
The ability to present the work to appropriate standard showing an understanding of issues and questions relevant to the practice and discourse of drawing.

STUDIO PRACTICE
Active participation in all aspects of the studio programme is an expectation of the course
